The Art Coven cards.jpg

They say the desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul.

What is the Art Coven, I hear you ask? Basically, that's what I call my workshops.

I wanted to create a space, a fun, supportive, encouraging wee community of artistic souls, where anyone is free, willing and able to create. To let loose. To ask questions. To experiment with paint on canvas.

No previous experience required! Anyone can be an 'artist'; we are all creative beings in one form or another, however the path of discovery can some times seem like a rather daunting one.

Maybe you've never tried it before but always wanted to. Maybe you don't know where to even start- so you haven't!

If you'd like to know more, please read on...

Having no artistic ability is not a thing… it's an entirely teachable skill!

I aim to help gently break down these self-imposed barriers and I cordially invite you into my wee workshop space to create alongside me for an afternoon or evening.

I am not a conventional 'art teacher', I'm forever a student myself, and a modest artist that possesses a love of the creative process and am merely willing to show you my tips and techniques. I'd love to share my knowledge with you and my passion for painting.

Unleash your inner artist. You may just find yourself falling in love with a spellbinding new hobby that frees the mind with every new colour palette and nourishes the soul with every messy brushstroke.

What's the difference between the workshops?

Each gathering will last around 2-3 hours.

3. Studio Lock-In ... I'll pour you a glass of wine (or BYOB) and experiment with paint on a canvas. Very chill, paint whatever you want. This is held in my own personal studio at 146 Crownpoint Road in the East End of Glasgow.
4. Venue Invasion ... same as above but means it's held at another venue around the city, usually Glasgow. (So don't BYOB!)

HOST YOUR OWN! If you want your OWN workshop in your OWN space i.e. corporate team-building days, birthdays, parties, celebrations, or just a Saturday night - hit me up and we can discuss! I would need minimum 5 people and a deposit to secure.

I supply table easels, canvases, paints, brushes etc.

My general charge for this is usually £300 if close enough to Glasgow. Further afield will be £350-£400.

Terms and Conditions

Respectfully, no refunds. However :) In the interest of fairness, should you not be able to make the session, you can transfer to another date, if you contact me out-with the 24 hour window of the event starting. Almost ALL cancellations happen on the day of the event, so I appreciate your understanding in this matter as it is hard to fill spaces last minute and I have to protect my income.

I use different venues around the city, so we may have different stipulations to adhere to, depending on the venue. If the event is in my own personal studio at Crownpoint Studios, please feel free to bring your own snacks or BYOB. Obviously, if we are in a pub / venue, we buy from the venue. Easy!

Don't wear yer finest clothes! Bring an apron if you wish. You MAY get paint on you!
